Recipients may opt out of receiving commercial electronic messages at any time, without providing any justification. The recipient's opt-out notification invalidates the consent for the specific communication channel used. Recipients may also exercise their right to opt out through İYS.
If a recipient provides their contact information for the purpose of being contacted, separate consent is not required for commercial electronic messages regarding changes, usage, and maintenance related to the provided goods or services.
Prior consent is not required for commercial electronic messages sent to the electronic contact addresses of recipients who are merchants or tradespeople. However, if merchant or tradesperson recipients exercise their right to opt out as specified in the relevant legislation, commercial electronic messages cannot be sent without obtaining their consent. In this context, before sending messages, the electronic contact addresses of merchant or tradesperson recipients are registered in İYS by the service provider, and checks are performed via İYS to verify whether the recipient has exercised their right to opt out.
